If you would like to request of dedicate a song for Speed FM to air during our live nightly shows, you can do this two ways. Either (for the cost of a standard SMS) send us your request via SMS. All you have to do is SMS the song title, artist and a dedication if wanted to 0400354070. Then tune in that night to hear your song aired during our live show. An alternative to the SMS is to email request@speedfm.com.au with the same information.
We are currently running a competition for the next 2 weeks which uses our SMS line as well. We are asking you to send in your most exciting automotive related pic that has been taken on your mobile phone. Simply send your pic to 0400354070 for the cost of a standard MMS to go into the draw. All pics will be published on the Speed FM site then able to be voted upon. The winner will receive a prize pack containing exciting prizes from Castrol Edge, Autobarn Macgregor and Bob Jane Ipswich. The Ipswich Rotorcrew car clubare holding a raffle thanks to Speed FM sponsor - raceonly.com.au For only $5, you will go into the draw to pick yourself up a package consisting of the following:
- 2 x RJB 044 fuel pumps
- 1 x Surge Tank (custom)
- 1 x Regulator
- 1 x BOV

Terri Sander's 'Diary of a Speed Demon' |
As Speed FM's newest talent, i would like to welcome Terri Sander on board. You can catch her on the mic during the Need for Speed show with Terry & Sandra each Thursday night from 6pm (also simulcast on Switch 1197am in S/E Qld) Many of you will know Terri as a long time competitor at the track piloting 'Mama's Toy' as well as a devoted drag racing fan in general. Terri has won many events during many appearances all over the country. It is our pleasure to welcome such a devoted and active member of the automotive community to the Speed FM crew!
